With over 75 years of industry experience, the business delivers a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from standard building frames to complex structural steelwork installations across the UK and Europe.\nThe Role\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial and contractual management of multiple projects nationwide, with a particular focus on subcontractor accounts. You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders to ensure effective cost control, minimise commercial risks and maximise project profitability.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage all commercial aspects of assigned projects.\nReview, analyse and agree subcontract documentation, including terms and conditions, warranties and bonds.\nPrepare, assess and submit variations, claims and measurements for interim valuations and final accounts.\nMonitor project costs and revenue, including the preparation of cost reports and cash flow forecasts.\nProvide commercial and contractual advice to internal teams and external stakeholders.\nNegotiate and agree subcontractor accounts.\nAttend sites nationwide to liaise with relevant project stakeholders and subcontractors.\nSupport the successful financial and commercial delivery of projects throughout their lifecycle.\nSkills and Experience\nMinimum of five years' experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.\nExperience in the structural steelwork sector would be advantageous but is not essential.\nStrong understanding of commercial and contractual management within construction.\nExperience in subcontractor account management, valuations, variations and final accounts.\nExcellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects effectively and work independently.\nAn HND or degree in a relevant discipline would be advantageous.\nRICS membership or progress towards professional accreditation would be beneficial.\nWorking Hours\nMonday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm\nFriday: 8:30am - 3:45pm\nSalary and Benefits\nSalary will be dependent on experience.
