leading construction and engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join their team in Dublin, working on major data centre, engineering and mission-critical projects.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a planner with strong Primavera P6 experience who wants to take ownership of project planning and work alongside senior project, commercial and construction teams on complex, high-value developments.\nThe Role\nYou will be responsible for developing and managing detailed programmes from pre-construction through to construction and commissioning, ensuring projects remain on programme and potential risks are identified and managed.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDeveloping and maintaining detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.\nManaging programmes across pre-construction, construction and commissioning.\nMonitoring progress against approved baselines and key milestones.\nCarrying out critical path, float and milestone analysis.\nMonitoring site progress and productivity against programme.\nPreparing progress reports, histograms and resource-loaded schedules.\nImplementing and maintaining Earned Value Management (EVM) systems.\nSupporting tender and pre-construction programme development.\nIdentifying programme risks, constraints and potential delays.\nProviding planning information to support commercial reporting, variations and claims.\nSupporting delay and disruption analysis.\nWorking closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commercial teams, engineers and subcontractors.\nLeading planning and programme meetings.\nSupporting workface planning and ensuring programmes accurately reflect site activities.\nMentoring and supporting junior planning staff where required.\nAbout You\nWe are looking for an experienced Planner / Senior Planner with a strong background in large-scale construction or engineering projects.\nYou should have:\n5+ years' experience in construction planning.\nStrong Primavera P6 experience.\nExcellent Excel skills.\nPractical experience with Earned Value Management.\nStrong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and project controls.\nExperience developing programmes from drawings, specifications, BIM information and scopes of work.\nExperience monitoring and auditing progress on live construction sites.\nKnowledge of resource and cash-loaded programmes.\nStrong understanding of critical path, float and delay analysis.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nThe ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.\nExperience within data centres, mission-critical, M&E or large-scale engineering projects would be highly
