Quantity Surveyor\nLocation: Cornwall \nContract: 8 months \nStart: ASAP / Negotiable \nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support large-scale energy infrastructure and substation projects, working on projects up to 400kV. \nYou will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients to manage costs, risks and commercial performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage all commercial aspects of projects from inception through to final account.\nAdminister NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including Early Warnings, Compensation Events and payment applications.\nManage cost control, CVRs, forecasts and financial reporting.\nIdentify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.\nManage subcontractor procurement and commercial administration.\nManage and negotiate variations and Compensation Events.\nBuild strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.\nProvide commercial support and guidance to junior team members where required.\nRequirements\nSignificant experience as a Quantity Surveyor.\nStrong practical knowledge and experience of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.\nStrong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.\nProactive and solutions-focused approach.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a wider project
