You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality and programme standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and supervise structural steel installation activities on site.\nTake overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations.\nCoordinate steel erection teams, subcontractors, plant, materials, and deliveries.\nEnsure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.\nMonitor progress against programme and address any issues that may impact delivery.\nLiaise with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, engineers, clients, and other site personnel.\nEnsure all site activities comply with health & safety requirements and company procedures.\nConduct and participate in site meetings, briefings, toolbox talks, and inspections.\nMonitor the quality of structural steel installation and ensure works meet the required standards.\nMaintain accurate site records, reports, and relevant documentation.\nIdentify and resolve site issues promptly and effectively.\nEnsure the site is maintained to a high standard of safety, organisation, and housekeeping.\nRequirements\nProven experience as a Site Manager within the construction or structural steel industry.\nStrong, demonstrable experience with primary structural steelwork installation and erection.\nFully competent in managing structural steel installation on active construction sites.\nPrevious experience managing steel erection teams and subcontractors.\nStrong understanding of construction site health & safety requirements.\nAbility to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under programme pressures.\nWillingness to travel and work on projects UK wide.\nRelevant site management qualifications/cards, such as SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent, are desirable/required depending on project requirements.\nWorking Hours: Approx. 07:00am - 18:00pm (10-11hr shift) \nWe are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in structural steel installation to oversee projects across the UK. \nThe successful candidate will be a fully competent Site Manager with proven experience managing primary structural steelwork installation on construction sites.
