Founded in Barcelona and with presence in over 120 countries, we inspire the world with creativity, innovation and authenticity.\nOur multicultural team, is the driving force behind our success, connecting our unique style with people all over the world.\nYOUR NEW ROLE:\nAs Buying Director for MANGO MAN, you will lead the buying strategy across multiple product categories, driving profitable growth and ensuring a compelling product offering that meets our customers’ needs.\nBased at our Barcelona headquarters and reporting to the Global Product Director, you will lead the buying team and work closely with Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Digital, Retail and Wholesale to deliver the right balance of product, quality, margin, availability and sustainability.\nYOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDefine and lead the buying strategy, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, customer needs and commercial objectives.\nOversee the buying calendar and end-to-end buying cycle, balancing trend relevance, commercial opportunities, profitability and inventory efficiency.\nTranslate market insights, customer understanding and sales performance into buying decisions that improve sell-through and margin.\nContribute to product selection and pricing strategy, while owning cost negotiations and vendor allocation decisions.\nPartner with Merchandising and Planning to optimise assortment, buying depth, price architecture, delivery plans and replenishment strategies.\nDevelop a competitive and flexible supplier base, assessing performance across quality, cost, reliability, responsiveness and sustainability.\nDrive improvements in buying and product development processes to reduce time to market and enable effective in-season responses.\nEmbed sustainability and traceability into buying, fabric sourcing and product development decisions.\nWork closely with Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure product standards and on-time delivery.\nLead, mentor and develop the buying team, fostering collaboration, accountability and data-driven decision-making.\nABOUT YOU:\nYou bring a strong track record in fashion buying leadership, with responsibility for multiple product categories and teams.\nYou have a strategic and commercial mindset, translating customer and market insights into a competitive and profitable product offering.\nYou have experience in cost negotiation, supplier management and sourcing strategies.\nYou understand key commercial and buying metrics, including margin, profitability, sell-through, buying depth and weeks of supply.\nYou combine a strong eye for product and trends with analytical skills and a results-driven approach.\nYou can manage complex buying cycles and respond quickly to changing business needs.\nYou demonstrate strong leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and develop teams.\nYou embed quality, traceability and sustainability considerations into your decisions.\nExperience in menswear is highly valued.\nYOUR BENEFITS\nEnjoy flexible working hours and a hybrid work model adapted to your needs.
