Join us in revolutionizing the lithium supply chain with our groundbreaking technology!\nDescription\nWe are currently looking for a skilledElectrical and Instrumentation Technicianto deploy and maintain industrial controls and automation systems and electrical equipment for our commercial plant located in Delta, BC (Tilbury Island). The individual will have experience in installation and servicing of controls instrumentation and PLC architecture, as well as AC and DC electrical equipment. The Technician will work with our Process Engineering, Operations and Maintenance teams to perform both regular preventative maintenance and corrective repairs to our equipment and facilities, in addition to executing upgrades to expand the functionality of our systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to follow the process of commissioning and maintaining the equipment through the startup of a first of its kind production facility.\nResponsibilities\nEnsuring that our safety and environmental rules and programs are consistently adhered to.\nMaintain, diagnose and repair automation and control systems\nAssist with planning of upgrade and maintenance projects\nAssemble bills of materials for related work\nExecute on electrical and control system projects\nPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and instrumentation\nParticipate in testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment and instrumentation\nPerform tests and calibration of electrical devices, instruments and components in application to industrial equipment\nMaintain service and calibration records through accurate documentation\nRequirements:\nCompletion of an industrial electrician or instrumentation apprenticeship or combination of over 5 years of relevant work experience\nRed Seal certified as either an Industrial Electrician or Instrumentation Control Technician is an asset\nStrong technical knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and controls systems\nExperience with PLC troubleshooting\nFamiliarity with electrochemical technology is an asset\nStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges\nEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments\nWorking Conditions\nThis position may require shifts and weekend work\nAbility to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds\nAbility to walk, stand, and perform manual labour for extended periods\nWhy Mangrove?\nAt Mangrove Lithium, our people are at the core of our groundbreaking technology.
