If you want to tackle complex problems and redefine markets, you’ve come to the right place.\nRole Summary\nThe Business Technology Partner is a business-minded transformation leader within ETS responsible for helping business leaders translate Manhattan’s strategy and priorities into measurable outcomes, transformation opportunities, and business capability roadmaps.\nThe role operates as an internal business consultant, partnering with leaders to understand how the business operates, identify problems and opportunities, challenge assumptions, shape future-state processes and capabilities, and orchestrate engagement across the appropriate ETS capabilities.\nThe Business Technology Partner should consistently start with: “What problem are we trying to solve?”\nThis is a strategic, process-oriented, and highly collaborative role. The Business Technology Partner is expected to be an order shaper, not an order taker-using consulting, structured problem-solving, process-improvement, and transformation methods - including Lean and Six Sigma where appropriate to determine the best combination of process, data, operating model, automation, AI, and technology to achieve the desired outcome.\nResponsibilities\nThe Business Technology Partner will:\nAct as a trusted internal consultant and strategic advisor to business leaders, developing a deep understanding of their strategy, processes, challenges, and opportunities.\nTranslate business strategy into measurable outcomes, transformation opportunities, and business capability needs.\nShape demand by identifying the underlying problem, root cause, and desired outcome before defining a response.\nApply Lean, Six Sigma, 5 Whys, and other structured problem-solving techniques to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and solve root causes rather than symptoms.\nLead discovery and transformation workshops to determine how process, operating model, data, automation, AI, and technology can improve business performance.\nDevelop and maintain business capability roadmaps that connect strategic priorities to required changes in process, data, operating model, and technology.\nFacilitate cross-functional discussions that align stakeholders around future-state processes, capability needs, priorities, and measures of success.\nPartner with Enterprise and Solution Architects to translate capability needs into cohesive, scalable, and strategically aligned approaches.\nConnect business priorities to the appropriate capabilities across Business Applications, Technology Operations, Cyber Security, Technology Enablement, and other ETS teams.\nDefine expected outcomes and measures early and partner with Transformation & Value Realization to track adoption, results, and business value.\nPromote agile, iterative transformation, delivering meaningful improvements quickly and refining approaches as the organization learns.\nHelp business leaders compare competing opportunities and make explicit prioritization and investment tradeoffs based on strategic alignment, value, risk, complexity, and capacity.\nMinimum Qualifications\n8+ years of progressive experience, including significant experience leading business transformation, consulting, capability planning, or technology-enabled change.\nDemonstrated ability to operate as a consultant or trusted advisor, diagnosing business problems and translating strategy into actionable transformation priorities.\nDemonstrated ability to define business outcomes, establish meaningful measures, and evaluate the value and tradeoffs associated with transformation investments.\nStrong understanding of business processes, process improvement, capability planning, and technology-enabled transformation.\nExperience leading complex cross-functional discovery, workshops, planning, prioritization, or transformation initiatives.\nDemonstrated ability to perform root-cause analysis, challenge assumptions, structure ambiguous problems, evaluate alternatives, and facilitate decisions.\nStrong understanding of how applications, data, automation, AI, and emerging technologies can enable business outcomes.\nStrong executive communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.\nAbility to influence across organizational boundaries and balance strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nBackground in business consulting, management consulting, process consulting, or business transformation is highly desirable.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent process-improvement certification\nDemonstrated experience applying DMAIC, value-stream mapping, process mapping, 5 Whys, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.\nProven track record supporting transformation across functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Services, Finance, Operations, or Customer Service.\nExperience developing business capability roadmaps, transformation plans, or strategic investment priorities.\nExperience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, MuleSoft, or comparable technologies.\nUnderstanding of data, analytics, automation, AI, Agile delivery, and globally distributed organizations.\nCharacteristics of the Ideal Candidate\nThe ideal candidate is:\nA consultant at heart -
