If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!\nCompensation: $70,000-$85,000 per year commensurate with experience\nWhat You’ll Do:\nSupport and maintain our multi-account, multi-region AWS infrastructure.\nBuild whole-stack AWS Elastic Load Balancing for databases and applications, and lead the process of moving and launching sites/services to new environments.\nAssist with deploying applications across our brands (Node.js, Golang, and other custom applications).\nProvision, manage, and deploy public and private SSL/TLS certificates for use with hosted AWS services, using AWS Certificate Manager.\nManage cloud resources and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.\nMonitor systems, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing and production, catching and resolving problems before launch.\nBuild and maintain tools, solutions, and microservices associated with deployment and our operations platform, ensuring they meet customer service standards and reduce errors.\nImprove CI/CD pipelines and automation to make deployments smoother, and manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes.\nLead the DevOps Engineering function; develop and advise management on best practices.\nTest system integrity, implemented designs, application developments, and other infrastructure processes, making improvements as needed.\nUpdate existing processes and design new ones as needed; document infrastructure, processes, and runbooks along the way.\nDeploy product updates as required and implement integrations as they arise.\nFollow security best practices, help manage access controls, and automate operational processes in compliance with security requirements.\nSpecify, document, and develop new product features, including writing automation scripts.\nEffectively manage assigned projects while lending support to the wider team; collaborate closely with developers and other engineers.\nWork with open-source technologies and offer technical support where needed, including developing software for back-end systems.\nForecast and report predicted spend for AWS and related services based on StorageMart's website infrastructure, data usage, and other criteria.\nMake strategic and tactical recommendations on AWS, current industry trends, and related services to support current and future growth.\nPerform ad-hoc analysis to understand past, current, and future trends in website performance and fraud patterns.\nStay current with industry trends and source new ways for the business to improve.\n\n Who We’re Looking For:\nBachelor's degree (Master's a plus) in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n2–3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer, cloud engineering, or systems administration role (or similar); experience in software development and infrastructure development is a plus.\nStrong experience with Linux/Unix-based infrastructures and administration (MacOS or Linux locally).\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain protocols and processes to team members and management.\nStellar troubleshooting skills, with the ability to spot issues before they become problems, and a willingness to dig into issues independently.\nStrong time and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask as needed.\nCurrent with industry trends, IT operations, and industry best practices; able to identify which to implement.\nSolid, all-around team player who works well with others and asks for help when needed.\nDesired certifications: AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer (or working toward one).\nHands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, Route 53, RDS, SQS, Code Deploy, IAM, AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and source control such as Git/GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and CircleCI.\nScripting experience with JavaScript (Node.js, React, JSON), Python, Bash, or Ruby.\nExperience with databases such as MS SQL, Postgres, MySQL, NoSQL, and/or MongoDB (including MongoDB Atlas).\nExperience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Workfront, and Scrum/Kanban.\nExperience with open-source technologies and cloud services.\n\n Other Qualifications (not mandatory):\nExperience with containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).\nExperience with monitoring/logging tools such as Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch, or ELK.\nNetworking fundamentals (VPCs, load balancers, DNS).\nExperience with Microsoft Azure.\nExposure to Node.js and Golang applications.\nExperience with multi-region or multi-account AWS setups.\nInterest in security or compliance concepts.\nCuriosity about serverless architectures.\n\n Why You’ll Love Working Here:\nInnovative Environment: Be part of a forward-thinking team that values creativity and technical excellence.\nGrowth Opportunities: Develop your skills and career with mentorship from senior leaders and exposure to new technologies.\nCollaborative Culture: Work in a supportive and collaborative environment where your contributions make a real difference.\n\n Work Environment: \nThis position is located at our home office in Columbia, MO.\n\n Work Hours:\nWe operate primarily on a standard business-hours schedule with some flexibility, and we maintain a culture where work-life balance is taken seriously.
