It currently operates four established franchises.\nOverall purpose and responsibilities of the role:\nThe Accountant will oversee the accounting and financial monitoring of a single-branch store. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring sales and inventory, and providing management with regular financial reports and insights.\nManage day-to-day accounting activities for the branch, records daily sales, meal transactions, commissary deliveries, local purchases, utilities, rentals, and other financial transactions\nMonitor and reconcile daily sales and collections\nReview daily sales reports from all store locations\nTrack inventory movements, stock levels, and inventory costs\nMonitor and reconcile store inventories\nPrepare monthly financial reports and account/bank reconciliations\nGenerate periodic financial reports for management review\nMonitor expenses, payables, and other branch-related financial transactions\nIdentify and investigate discrepancies in sales, inventory, and cash records\nAssist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis\nManage cash and check handling, supplier payments (weekly and month-end), store fund replenishment and payroll disbursement\nPrepare monthly tax reports, process local and national tax payments and ensure timely payroll remittances and compliance\nEnsure compliance with company financial policies\nPrepare financial statements and other required financial reports\nFile and organize invoices and financial documents\nConducts audit on cash, inventory (Weekly and mid-month) and fixed asset counts to ensure accuracy and accountability\nEnsure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions\nCoordinate with store managers and branch operations to ensure proper documentation, controls and financial matters\nProvide management with financial insights and recommendations to improve branch profitability\nPerform, Compile, record (bookkeeping), process, analyze old records for future reference and financial recording tasks.\nMaintain accurate records using SAP system and Excel applications\nHandle accounts payable and receivable processes\nAssist with month-end and year-end closing procedures\nMaintain communication with admin manager and managing director\nWeekly and mid-month-end inventory check/audit - reviewing stock and inventory at the store.\nWill occasionally travel to two branches to conduct account and inventory audits, approximately once a month or once every two months for the Cabanatuan branch.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\n2-3 years of relevant accounting experience\nRetail/Food Industry experience strongly preferred\nPrevious experience with Franchise operation is an advantage. \nExperience handling sales, inventory, and store-level accounting is preferred\nStrong knowledge of Accounting principles and Financial reporting\nExperience in Payroll. \nAudit experience is required, preferably involving branch operations, accounts, or inventory.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel (Required) and SAP Accounting software (Highly preferred but not required)\nxperience with inventory management systems\nFamiliarity with banking applications and online portals\nDetail-oriented and highly organized\nFlexible and reliable\nExcellent communication skills for coordination with store staff\nAbility to work independently and take initiative\nProblem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities\nCPA license is not required\nJob type: Permanent\nEmp type: Full-time\nSchedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM\nLocation: NAIA terminal 3 Fast Food Branch and office (TBA)\nIndustry: Food & Beverage Franchise Industry\nExpertise: Accountant (Payroll, Tax, Inventory)","description_format":"text","description_chars":4116,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Commerce"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-24T06:48:56Z"}],"liveness":{"score":52,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.516,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":60,"reasons":["conf:2","agency","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-24T19:36:07Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/manila-recruitment-accountant-food-retail-industry-onsite","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/manila-recruitment-accountant-food-retail-industry-onsite.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-24T19:36:07Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers"}}
