Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with PFRS and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

Accounting Operations

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedure.

Tax and Other Statutory Compliance

• Oversee tax computation and filings within the statutory deadlines
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all tax and other government compliance reports

People Management

• Mentoring and Coaching of Accounting Associates and Senior Accounting Associates
• Ensures that team members meet efficiency score standards and KPIs.
• Facilitate appropriate trainings and performance management
• Proactively identifies and addresses policy and procedure breaches
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.

• Provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.

Internal Controls

• Ensures process documentation is complete and updated
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of accounting data
• Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensures accountability for service quality and overall customer satisfaction

Communication and Collaboration

• Work closely with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
• Communicate financial information to management and stakeholders.
• Leads client meetings, handle issue resolutions and key status updates

Customer Relationship

• Ensures that communication is purposeful, timely, and solutions-driven in every customer interaction
• Provide efficiency and transparency, giving clients real-time access and updates
• through the use of innovative cloud-based tools
• Provide clear, consistent, and efficient communication channels that build trust, foster collaboration, and support long-term client relationships.

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Manager.
• At least 5 years of overall accounting experience.
• Previous client servicing experience is highly preferred.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and Philippine taxation.
• Preferably from the Gen Z or Millennial generation.

Advantageous:

• Experience in using QuickBooks, Xero, SAP or Oracle.
• International accounting experience is nice to have but not a requirement.

• Staying updated with changing accounting standards, regulations, and Technologies.

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM (Manila Time)

Location: Hybrid Setup
