The organization currently manages millions of hectares of marine areas and is continuing to expand its impact through a combination of conservation, community development, and commercially sustainable enterprises.\nAs part of their ongoing growth, they are expanding their team in the Philippines and looking for a proactive, highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join their dynamic team.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of mud crab and sea cucumber hatchery facilities, leading maintenance activities and technicians to minimise equipment downtime, ensure uninterrupted operations, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nMaintenance Planning & Coordination\nPlan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the hatchery, covering pumps, blowers, filtration systems, UV sterilisers, ozone systems, protein skimmers, compressors, aeration systems, generators, laboratory equipment, and associated life-support equipment\nIdentify maintenance requirements and prioritise work based on operational needs, in accordance with maintenance schedules\nCoordinate maintenance activities with relevant departments and external contractors and suppliers for specialised servicing where required\nMaintain maintenance schedules, logs, inspection records, repair reports, and related documentation\nTechnical & Operational Support\nOversee the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of hatchery equipment and supporting infrastructure, including hatchery buildings, plumbing systems, water distribution systems, drainage, tanks, valves, and associated infrastructure\nOversee the diagnosis of mechanical and electrical faults and coordinate timely repairs and appropriate solutions\nEnsure facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, including critical life-support systems, are maintained in safe and working condition at all times\nSupport installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems, and oversee system performance testing\nEnsure maintenance tools, spare parts, and workshop areas are organised and in good condition, and monitor consumables to recommend procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies\nSupport the team with urgent maintenance requirements and equipment breakdowns when needed\nTeam Supervision\nSupervise and provide guidance to maintenance technicians and other relevant personnel.\nEnsure maintenance work, including equipment operation and troubleshooting support to hatchery staff, is completed safely, efficiently, and to an appropriate standard.\nPromote good maintenance practices and a proactive approach to equipment and facility upkeep.\nHealth, Safety & Compliance\nEnsure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company safety procedures and hatchery SOPs, including Good Aquaculture Practices (GAqP).\nIdentify and report potential safety or operational risks.\nMaintain appropriate records relating to maintenance activities and issues.\nGeneral\nPerform other maintenance and operational duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree, technical qualification, or relevant trade/maintenance background, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Electromechanical Technology, or a related discipline\n10+ years of relevant experience preferred;
