This role plays a critical part in supporting production continuity, minimizing inventory discrepancies, and driving operational excellence across all shifts.\nThe Inventory Manager will lead inventory teams, partner cross-functionally with production, shipping, and purchasing, and ensure alignment with MANN+HUMMEL standards and KPIs.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nInventory Control & Accuracy\nMaintain accurate inventory levels across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods\nDrive cycle count programs and ensure compliance with audit requirements\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, root cause issues, and implement corrective actions\nMonitor inventory transactions within ERP systems (e.g., SAP / SuccessFactors integration where applicable)\nOperational Leadership\nLead and develop Inventory Supervisors and team members across all shifts\nEstablish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards\nSupport staffing, training, and development of inventory personnel\nPartner with supervisors to ensure consistency in processes and execution\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Production, Shipping, Receiving, and Purchasing teams\nEnsure material availability aligns with production schedules 1\nSupport plant initiatives such as continuous improvement and cost reduction\nCommunicate effectively with leadership on inventory performance and risks\nProcess Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, material flow, and warehouse organization\nImplement lean principles and best practices within inventory operations\nSupport system and process enhancements in coordination with corporate teams\nCompliance & Reporting\nEnsure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements\nPrepare and present inventory KPIs (accuracy, variance, cycle counts, etc.)\nMaintain documentation and reporting for internal and external audits\nREQUIREMENTS\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field\nExperience:\n5+ years of experience in inventory control within a manufacturing environment\n2+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing / warehousing environment\nRequired Skills:\nStrong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)\nAdvanced Excel and data analysis skills\nPreferred Experience and Skills:\nExperience within the automotive, aerospace, and/or filtration manufacturing industries\nLean / Six Sigma knowledge (Yellow Belt minimum preferred)\nBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus\nKANBAN and PFEP experience\n#LI - Onsite","description_format":"text","description_chars":2833,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":2,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":true}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-24T14:29:16Z"}],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":1,"expected_fill_days":22,"reasons":["conf:0","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-25T05:45:01Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/mann-hummel-inventory-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/mann-hummel-inventory-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-26T04:29:32Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4853,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":147,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-27T00:00:00Z"}}}
