tests for: Purchased parts, semi-finished parts, finished parts according to control plan, and PPAP parts\nSupport R&D\nProduct audits\nSupport problem investigation\nDocumentation within Palstat computer aided quality management software system\nManage the calibration system of production & quality measuring and testing devices\nMeasure components according to customer specification and relevant standards\nSupport the proper use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) in production according to the control plan\nSupporting Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) if required\nOrganizing external and internal equipment calibration\nWork with external vendors on product development, measurements and calibrations\nIn case of non-conforming product, report immediately to request for further disposition\nAdvise on proper measurement methods, equipment and identification of characteristics on drawings to support measurements\nPerforms other duties as assigned \nREQUIREMENTS\nEducation:\nHigh School diploma or GED \nExperience:\nA minimum of 2 years' directly related experience in tool/part measurement, calibration, or machining within a fast-paced manufacturing environment \nRequired Skills:\nAbility to interpret drawings and requirements for ensuring the adherence to agreed Quality parameters\nExpertise in performing tests in referring to the laboratory scope\nExpertise in the calibration of test equipment including the use of calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, pressure gauges, torque guns, etc.\nIntermediate computer usage skills to include Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel) \nPreferred Skills:\nKnowledge in statistical methodologies \nPalstat, or other computer aided quality management
