Set-up team reviews and process sign-offs.\nCompliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.\nReview project requirements and translate them into mechanical design specifications 80% of time devoted to design and 20% of time devoted to engineering functions.\nCreate and refine CAD models, run simulations, prepare manufacturing drawings / layouts.\nCoordinate with manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and ensure production readiness.\nDocument design iterations provide multiple proposals with suggested pros and cons for each. Request manufacturing feedback.\nYour Profile\nEducation:\n2-year associate degree in mechanical engineering with CAD skills. Prefer bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with CAD skills.\nExperience:\n4+ years of mechanical design engineering experience, preferably designing manufacturing equipment, machinery, tooling, or fixtures.\nExperience taking designs from concept through fabrication, assembly, testing, installation, and production support.\nHands-on experience applying DFM/DFA principles and troubleshooting or improving manufacturing equipment.\nExperience collaborating with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, fabrication, and production teams.\nTechnical Skills:\nProficiency in 3D CAD and engineering drawings, preferably Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.\nStrong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, BOMs, and mechanical design documentation.\nPractical knowledge of machining, welding/fabrication, sheet metal, assembly, and material/component selection.\nExperience with mechanical design calculations, equipment troubleshooting, and FEA/simulation;
