The Plant Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the manufacturing facility to enhance profitability, efficiency, and fast-paced environment in a matrix organization structure. The Plant Controller will be an integral part of the plant leadership team responsible for managing all financial aspects of the plant's operations, providing strategic insights, and driving financial performance improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, costing, profitability & financial analysis, and manufacturing operations.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nOversee all financial activities associated with month-end and year-end close processes, including but not limited to preparing and approving the journal entries, analysis and reporting the P&L, variance analysis & controlling using SAP and Power BI\nDetermine, execute, and report the counter actions plans to improve the financial performance, if the deviation exists to the plan\nActively participate in the daily/weekly SQDC meetings with the plant team and drive the commitment and ownership culture to meet the financial targets\nPerform yearly budgeting and monthly forecasting activities of the plant and ensure all the risks and opportunities are identified and captured\nManage product costing process, cost center planning & reporting, internal orders, tariffs, routings, and the product cost development in SAP\nInvestment controlling, Inventory management, headcount reporting and ad-hoc analysis of the plant\nCreate/use the internal control systems to ensure compliance with the company procedures and, thus, minimize the financial risks\nCoordinate with other functions and plants in the region for project controlling and business case calculations\nDevelop and maintain the standard reporting packages and documentation\nManage and report the operations KPIs to the management periodically\nProvide regular information to business partners (reports, analyses, etc.) to get an understanding of current developments compared to plan and forecast \nREQUIREMENTS\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field \nExperience:\nMinimum 7 years' relevant work experience\n\nMust have manufacturing or industrial environment finance experience\n\nExperence working within a fast-paced, matrix organizational structure\nRequired Skills:\nStrong analytical and communication skills\nAbility to work in a time-sensitive environment\nCompetence in MS Office with advanced Excel skills\nERP system experience \nAdditional Preferred Education, Certifications, Skills and Experience:\nMBA / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field \nCPA or CMA Certification\nSAP ERP system experience \nAutomotive industry experience\n#LI - Onsite","description_format":"text","description_chars":3082,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":7,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-24T14:29:16Z"}],"liveness":{"score":70,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.778,"p_room":0.9,"age_days":12,"expected_fill_days":22,"reasons":["conf:0","win:mid","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-24T22:51:10Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/mann-hummel-plant-controller","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/mann-hummel-plant-controller.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-24T22:51:10Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1077,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3923,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-25T00:00:00Z"}}}
