This role oversees the coordination of materials and logistics operations to support manufacturing efficiency, customer delivery performance, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, along with expertise in material planning, logistics operations, inventory management, ERP systems, and Lean manufacturing methodologies. This position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, improving material flow processes, and ensuring alignment between production, procurement, warehousing, and customer requirements.\nMain Tasks\nLead all site logistics, materials management, inventory control, production planning, receiving, warehousing, and shipping functions\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing methodologies throughout the supply chain and logistics operations\nSupport inventory reduction initiatives while maintaining operational efficiency and customer delivery requirements\nPartner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Sales, Planning, Procurement, and Operations teams to optimize material flow and inventory strategies\nEnsure effective production planning and level loading to support inventory optimization and operational efficiency\nDevelop and maintain PFEP (Plan for Every Part), replenishment strategies, and standardized material flow processes\nMonitor and drive key logistics KPIs including inventory turns, fill rate, on-time delivery, material variance, and overall supply chain performance\nLead logistics and transportation support activities, including carrier-related concerns and transportation management processes\nEnsure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations related to forklifts, powered industrial trucks, and material handling equipment\nLead and support material handling and warehouse process improvements\nManage supervisors and team members within material planning, receiving, inventory management, and shipping departments\nConduct hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee development activities\nEnsure proper processes are in place to manage non-conforming materials and corrective actions\nEnsure logistics and production planning activities are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with customer and supplier requirements\nImprove operational procedures and standardize processes to enhance efficiency and productivity\nFoster strong communication and collaboration across site leadership, support functions, and sales teams\nPerform additional duties as assigned\nProfile\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree required\nMinimum 5 years of experience in logistics, materials management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations\nPrevious leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment required\nExperience with inventory management, production planning, warehousing, and distribution operations\nLean Manufacturing experience strongly preferred\nExperience working with ERP systems such as SAP preferred\nStrong understanding of material flow, inventory optimization, and supply chain processes\nExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to lead, mentor, and develop employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nAbility to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization\nMust be authorized to work in the United States\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nManufacturing plant environment with exposure to forklifts, powered industrial equipment, and warehouse operations\nAbility to work in varying temperature conditions within a production facility\nFrequent standing,
