This position serves as the primary technical resource for operators, troubleshoots production issues, coordinates changeovers, supports maintenance activities, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduction Leadership\nLead and coordinate daily stamping line activities to achieve production schedules.\nMonitor production output, downtime, scrap rates, and efficiency metrics.\nEnsure operators follow standardized work instructions and operating procedures.\nAssist with production planning and staffing requirements.\nSupport shift handoffs and communicate operational concerns to leadership.\nSchedule coordination and production supportive documents (BOMs, label, blueprints, qualification matrix and training records)\nTechnical Support\nTroubleshoot stamping presses, feeding systems, die protection equipment, sensors, automation systems, and peripheral equipment.\nWork closely with Maintenance, Tool & Die, Engineering, and Quality departments to resolve issues.\nSupport installation and startup of new equipment and process improvements.\nQuality Management\nVerify product quality meets customer and engineering specifications.\nEnsure proper inspections are completed and documented.\nInvestigate quality concerns and implement containment and corrective actions.\nMonitor tooling condition and identify potential quality risks.\nSafety & Compliance\nPromote and enforce all safety procedures and company policies.\nConduct routine safety inspections and address hazards immediately.\nEnsure proper lockout/tagout procedures are followed during maintenance activities.\nSupport continuous improvement of workplace safety standards.\nEquipment & Tooling Management\nMonitor die performance and coordinate repairs or PM activities.\nAssist with die changeovers and setup verification.\nMaintain equipment performance through routine inspections and operator care activities.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to reduce downtime, scrap, and changeover times.\nSupport Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nParticipate in production and downtime review meetings.\nTraining & Development\nTrain and mentor operators on equipment operation and troubleshooting.\nEnsure team members are cross-trained and qualified.\nProvide technical guidance and coaching to production personnel.\nSupport onboarding of new employees.\nSkills & Experience\n3+ years of experience in a metal stamping environment.\nExperience with automated production systems, presses, feeders, and stamping dies.\nPrevious leadership or team lead experience preferred.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.\nKnowledge of stamping press operation and die setup.\nUnderstanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes.\nAbility to interpret blueprints, process sheets, and production documentation.\nExperience with downtime tracking and production reporting.\nStrong communication and leadership skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and production management
