Responsibilities:Achieve monthly and annual Personal Lines premium sales targets, individually and as a team\nAchieve the agreed closing rate on new business quoted\nKeep the new business loss ratio below 60% by writing profitable business\nIdentify and sign up at least 5 new select brokers per year, and unlock new opportunities within the existing broker base\nLead, coach and develop a team of four Personal Lines Consultants, setting targets and monitoring broker visits, quotes and closing rates\nHold regular one-on-ones, conduct performance reviews and agree development plans\nRecruit and onboard consultants, and keep the team FAIS Fit & Proper, including CPD requirements\nBuild a motivated, high-performance sales culture, recognising and rewarding results\nReport on portfolio and team performance at Sales Manco\nCommunicate product and process updates to brokers and arrange broker training where needed\nEnsure new brokers are signed up in line with appointment and compliance requirements\nHelp resolve internal problems and broker complaints, escalating where required\nWork with regional sales, technical sales and operations colleagues to deliver seamless broker service\n What We're Looking For:Grade 12\nNQF Level 4 Short-Term Insurance qualification (120-150 credits), obtained or currently studying towards it\nHigher Certificate in Short-Term Insurance (NQF Level 5) or higher highly advantageous\nRE5 and evidence of being on the FSCA Register (DOFA date)\nMinimum 3 years' experience managing a sales team with direct reports, including target setting, performance management and coaching\nMinimum 3-5 years' Personal Lines insurance sales experience\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook\nExperience on the TIAL Operating System (System A) highly advantageous\nKnowledge of market trends, competitors and external factors affecting the business (advantageous)\nA valid driver's licence, and willingness to travel nationally and be away from home from time to
