Responsibilities\nProcure raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, consumables, and services in line with business requirements and approved specifications.\nManage purchase requisitions, requests for quotations (RFQs), purchase orders, and supplier contracts.\nObtain, evaluate, and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with procurement policies.\nMonitor supplier performance in terms of pricing, quality, availability, delivery, and service levels.\nFollow up on outstanding orders and proactively address supply delays, shortages, and potential risks.\nWork closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Planning, Logistics, and Finance to ensure materials are available when required.\nEnsure suppliers provide the necessary technical and compliance documentation, including TDS, SDS, COAs, certificates, and product specifications.\nAssist with supplier onboarding, due diligence, and supplier performance evaluations.\nCoordinate local and international procurement activities, including import requirements, shipping documentation, and delivery schedules where applicable.\nResolve supplier queries and discrepancies relating to pricing, invoices, quantities, quality, and deliveries.\nVerify that received goods correspond with purchase orders and agreed specifications, working with Warehouse and Logistics to resolve any discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate procurement records and ensure all purchases comply with approved purchasing controls and procedures.\nPrepare procurement reports covering expenditure, savings, open orders, supplier performance, outstanding requirements, and supply risks.\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external service providers.\nMinimum Requirements\nA tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Procurement Management, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing environment.\nProven experience in sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and procurement administration.\nExperience procuring raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, services, and other business requirements.\nExperience working with procurement systems and managing supplier-related queries and discrepancies.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nThe ability to understand and interpret contracts and other legal or commercial documentation.\nSkills and Competencies\nStrong negotiation and supplier management skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nGood organisational skills and attention to detail.\nStrong planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.\nThe ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.\nA proactive approach to identifying and resolving supply chain challenges.\nThe ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal
