This role combines embedded software development with practical testing and validation, giving you the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle.\nYour responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain embedded software, firmware, Linux modules, and test frameworks for subsea systems\nTake ownership of software for one or more products throughout their lifecycle Develop HMIs and graphical user interfaces using Qt\nImplement new features, troubleshoot issues, and enhance existing solutions Perform software integration, verification, and testing on target hardware\nSupport manufacturing teams with tools, scripts, and technical expertise Investigate product and production issues and contribute to effective solutions\nCollaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to continuously improve products and processes\nRequired skills\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field\nMinimum 2 years of experience in embedded software development Strong programming skills in C, C++ and Python\nExperience with embedded Linux environments Experience with Git, CMake, Qt, Yocto, and pytest\nFluent English and German (minimum B2 level) A structured, practical, and solution-oriented mindset\nNice to Have Experience with MQTT, OPC-UA, or SNMP\nExperience with microcontroller-based development (NXP i.MX or Kinetis is an advantage) Familiarity with Azure DevOps\nHands-on experience with hardware debugging and testing\n\nWhat we offer\nThis role offers a unique combination of software development and practical engineering.
