This role undertakes complex and non-routine professional assignments with minimal supervision and may provide leadership to more junior roles.\nYour responsibilities\nAs a Senior Planner, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of our Nuclear Power Station programmes.\nDay-to-day, you’ll be required to:\nDeveloping and maintaining detailed construction and installation schedules using Primavera P6.\nCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to gather project data and ensure schedule accuracy.\nTracking progress, identifying potential delays and recommending actions to maintain programme performance.\nSupporting risk assessments, scenario planning and change control activities to assess schedule impacts.\nPreparing schedule performance reports and communicating planning insights to key stakeholders.\nRequired skills\nEssential experience of the Senior Planner:\nExtensive experience using Primavera P6, including advanced planning and scheduling capabilities.\nExperience within nuclear project planning or similarly complex regulated environments.\nDemonstrating strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities.\nBuilding effective relationships with stakeholders through excellent communication and collaboration skills.\nUnderstanding project controls disciplines, including schedule, cost and risk integration.\nQualifications for the Senior Planner:\nDemonstrable planning and scheduling expertise gained within major infrastructure, engineering or nuclear projects.\nSecurity Clearance\nThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
