Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Acquisition Security Analyst (ASA) - II to join our team in El Segundo, CA.\nThe Acquisition Security Analyst - II will assist the Government Program Manager with the development and implementation of comprehensive program protection methodologies to protect advanced technology programs throughout the system’s lifecycle. You will support collateral and Special Access Programs (SAP) by providing direct security oversight, risk management, and acquisition lifecycle guidance in a high-tempo operational environment.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nConduct in-depth lifecycle program analysis to identify Critical Program Information (CPI), Critical System Resources (CSR), and their associated vulnerabilities.\nDirect customer program protection and security personnel in the development, execution, and implementation of Program Protection Planning (PPP) and risk-mitigation strategies.\nMaintain working relationships with the Program Manager, Contracting Officer, and contractor security officers to ensure standardized, accurate DD Form 254 execution throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle.\nAuthor, review, and edit critical program security documentation, including Security Classification Guides (SCG), Exposure Contingency Plans (ECP), Managed Access Plans (MAP), Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), and OPSEC plans.\nProvide technical analysis, classification guidance, and operations security (OPSEC) support to Space Systems Command (SMC) or Space Force special programs and associated RDT&E efforts.\nPerform foreign intelligence threat and counterintelligence report analyses against critical research, sensitive technologies, and CPI to provide actionable analytical products.\nReview program documentation for public release, ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) carries proper markings, classifications, and distribution statements per Air Force doctrine.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a related area or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\n10+ years of related acquisition program experience, including at least 6 years supporting SCI or SAR programs.\nExtensive knowledge of the DD Form 254 and its integration across the Air Force acquisition and sustainment lifecycle.\nDemonstrated working knowledge of Department of Defense security policies, manuals, ICDs, and JAFANs.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n4 or more years of experience focused directly on Special Access Program (SAP) acquisitions.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively interact with Department of Defense leadership, military and civilian personnel, and industry partners.\nHigh degree of initiative, originality, and independent problem-solving skills requiring minimal supervision.\nClearance Requirements:\nCurrent Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.\nWillingness to submit a polygraph.\nEligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position in closed-area office settings for extended periods.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, cabinets, and office machinery.\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time in closed-area office settings.\nWillingness to travel extensively within the Program’s Area of Responsibility (AOR) via air and ground transportation.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $109,000.00-$181,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
