Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to support our contract under Portfolio Acquisition Executive Marine Corps out of Stafford, VA. This effort is in support of Program Manager Combat Support Systems, in the research, development, acquisition, and sustainment of cutting-edge critical infrastructure support systems and technology.\nThe purpose is to support the government team in conducting systems engineering reviews, development, test, and integration, to provide enhanced capabilities to the operating forces.\nJob Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nProvide Systems Engineering support to fuel and water clients and relevant joint stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of equipment/systems.\nDraft Engineer drawings for data packages.\nDevelop test plans or review test plans for environmental and transportability testing (i.e. MIL-STD-810).\nProvide subject matter expertise in acquisition engineering best practices.\nDevelop, update, and maintain engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Technical Review Action Plans, and Interface Control Documents.\nAnalyze technical problems; develop courses of action and present recommendations to leadership on solutions.\nSupport the execution of System Engineering Technical Reviews through documentation preparation, review of criteria, preparation and presentation of briefing material.\nSupport the Engineering Change Proposal process and complete the required forms.\nFollow and provide support to the Test & Evaluation process for required performance verification.\nMandatory Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of relevant systems engineering experience. An additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. \nExperience with requirements definition and traceability, formulating design methodology, documentation origination, systems integration and testing to verify required performance, or assessment of change proposals for technical merit.\nExperience in CMPRO and/or configuration management software.\nFamiliarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBasic understanding of Defense Acquisitions.\nDemonstrated ability to write technical documentation.\nFamiliar with SharePoint postings, downloading, team-building environment.\nKnowledge of modeling based systems engineering practices and processes.\nClearance Requirement:\nMust have a current / active DoD Secret Clearance\nPhysical Requirements:\nThis job is largely operated in a professional office environment\nAbility to sit for extended periods of time\nTravel 20-25%\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
