Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Analytics & Data Science Lead to join our team in Doral, FL.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nLeading the design, development, and deployment of advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools to solve complex operational challenges.\nOverseeing data science projects across the entire life cycle, including requirement gathering, data extraction, feature engineering, model training, and performance monitoring.\nCollaborating with cross-functional technical teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex data insights into strategic, data-driven decisions.\nEstablishing best practices for data governance, model validation, and reproducible analytic workflows across all data environments.\nManaging individual analytic tasks and mentoring team members to ensure technical delivery aligns with customer objectives.\nRecommending and implementing process improvements, automated pipelines, and emerging data science technologies to enhance operational efficiency.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in advanced analytics or data science roles.OR a PhD and 3+ or more years of relevant experience\nOR a master’s degree and 5+ or more years of relevant experience\nOR an associate’s degree and 9+ or more years of relevant experience\nOR a high school diploma and 11+ or more years of relevant experience\n\nDemonstrated proficiency with standard data analysis tools, languages, and frameworks such as Python, R, and SQL.\nExperience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex technical documentation, analytical findings, and executive presentations to stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a quantitative discipline.\nPrior experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations or Department of Defense enterprise data environments.\nHands-on knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.\nExperience with MLOps frameworks, DevSecOps pipelines, and deploying AI/ML models into production environments.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust hold a current/active Secret security clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
