Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Application Developer to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB and grow their career within the organization.\nThe Application Developer’s primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract. The ideal candidate has experience and passion for conceptualizing, designing, developing and/or delivering efficient tools and applications in support of operations or other structured business processes.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nConceptualizing, planning, designing, developing, testing, launching, and/or maintaining web-based applications.\nApply strong business process modelling, project management and programming skills to satisfy the needs of users such as technicians, engineers, planners and managers.\nKnowledge of a variety of client and/or server-side programming languages (e.g. Excel Macros/VBA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Cold Fusion) is a solid foundation to start and grow in this position.\nYou will rely on effective communication skills and technical savvy to plan, coordinate and complete a variety of often complex assignments both independently and as a member of a team.\nDrive for results, creativity, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and versatility will be rewarded.\nExpertise to build out dashboards in Envision (or other BDP) or Sharepoint which will assist leadership decision making potentially at all levels of the wing. \nConsistent with where they are taking the old Knowledge Management AFSC as they become Data Operations.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university (2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree). At least 2 years direct/related experience\nDoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification is required within 6 months of hire\nDatabase planning, creation & modification including SQL experience\nGeneral coding or scripting experience. Web application coding experience; both client-side: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and server side: ColdFusion or similar\nMS Office Applications used for planning and communication within a team and among work partners.\nVisual Basic/VBA or Mobile application development experience a plus\nTechnical/engineering training or experience, especially in a test laboratory or prototype engineering environment is a plus\nPreferred Qualifications:\nData Analyst and BI Developer experience (preferred)\nClearance Requirements:\nMust be a US Citizen and have a current/active Secret Clearance\nEligibility for access to Special Access Program Information\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility)\nWillingness to submit to a Polygraph\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
