This effort supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization, which oversees MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT)the backbone platform for all enterprise users.\n.\nResponsibilities Included but are not limited to:\nProvide Tier 2 administration, troubleshooting, and general support for Windows Server 2022 environments, Windows 10/11 client systems, and RHEL 8/9 / Linux distributions within cloud environments.\nArchitect, deploy, and maintain robust cloud environments, primarily within AWS utilizing Kion for cloud governance.\nDevelop, implement and maintain automation scripts and configurations using SaltStack to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and deployment processes.\nCollaborate with development teams to support integration and operational stability of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and reliable software deployments.\nMonitor system performance, availability, and security, responding to incidents and performing root cause analysis\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related professional engineering discipline from an accredited college or university is required. An additional 5 years of System Engineer experience may be substituted for a degree\n20 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity\nMust hold an IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent). If you don't have this, you'll be required to obtain it within 60 days of your program start date.\nProficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)8/9 and Windows Server 2022/2025 environments.\nProven experience as a System Administrator or Cloud Engineer with practical knowledge of cloud environments\nDemonstrated understanding of the IAVM process and experience working directly with ISSOs / Security to coordinate infrastructure security findings\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working in enterprise or government environments\nFamiliarity with cloud security compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, ICD 503).\nHands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for infrastructure deployment, management, and troubleshooting\nExperience building automated patching and infrastructure deployment workflows using SaltStack.\nFamiliarity or foundational understanding of ecosystem applications and tools such as Apache NiFi, Jira, Confluence, SafeNet HSMs, Certificate Authority (CA) management, and GitLab (deep engineering mastery is not required).\nWillingness to learn about environment-specific platforms; on-site training will be provided for specific specialized tools and internal methodologies (e.g., Kion, SaltStack, and program workflows).\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in an agile, fast-paced team environment.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
