In this role you will be working as a cloud engineer utilizing cloud computing platforms and developing full stack web application interfacing with AWS services.\nBecome an integral part of a diverse team that delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation. It is the contract vehicle for the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). EIT is MPO’s backbone- platform for all Enterprise users. Data Center & Compute Services is the EIS enabling organization working with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver select EIT.\nResponsibilities Included but are not limited to:\nResearch, recommend, and implement visualization tools for our administration, security, and finance teams. \nBuild new and improved existing CI/CD pipelines for testing, building, and releasing software applications. \nDeveloped full stack web application interfacing with AWS services managing millions of dollars of customer projects as an all-in-one support dashboard. \nArchitect and maintain intuitive user interfaces for software that manages hundreds of AWS accounts, directly improving our cloud management capabilities\nFoster a culture of technical excellence by writing clean, maintainable code and staying current with modern web development best practices.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n12 years of overall experience. An additional 2 years of experience may be substituted with an active Certified Kubernetes Application OR Certified Kubernetes Administrator\nProven experience developing robust and scalable web applications with ansible, Python, Angular, Nodejs and/or Django\nFunctional experience with containerization technologies like Docker.\nHands-on experience with Agile project management and technical documentation using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)\nActive CompTIA Security+ certification.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFluent with Git and GitLab, both in commonplace software development processes (branches, merge, reviews, issues, code reviews)\nFoundational knowledge of AWS cloud services, architecture, and deployment best practices.\nWorking knowledge of relational database management, specifically utilizing MySQL.\nPrevious background or hands-on experience in Unix/Linux and/or Windows system administration.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
