Your adventure begins now-unleash your potential with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a skilled and mission-focused CNO Python Software Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD.\nIn this role you will be providing specialized testing and evaluation capabilities tailored to system functions. You’ll be part of a dynamic team working on next-generation solutions that safeguard our national security systems.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nAbility to demonstrate solid knowledge of application containerization using Docker and Kubernetes \nPerforming system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a system.\nResearching requirements for a product, including CNO deployment environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.\nAnalyze user requirements and system capabilities to resolve problems and design new capabilities or recommend improvements.\nDebug, troubleshoot, and modify software, and assist with developing and executing test procedures.\nWrite and review software and system documentation\nCoordinating and performing software deployments for developed products.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or University with 7 years of programming required, OR 11 years of programming experience in lieu of a degree. \nExperience with developing software and systems running Windows and Linux\nExperience with Python programming\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes and Ansible\nExperience designing and maintaining Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery processes\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with VMWare\nExperience with Java\nStrong problem-solving skills\nProficiency with networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming.\nExperience with SQL and NoSQL databases\nSubversion/GIT experience\nAtlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira, Crucible)\nSoftware troubleshooting and debugging experience\nUnit Test experience\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph prior to start, if required\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $141,500.00-$236,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
