This position can be worked in Hanover, MD, Herndon, VA or San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will support critical national security missions by identifying and analyzing software vulnerabilities, developing innovative solutions, and collaborating with a highly skilled cyber team to advance offensive and defensive capabilities.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nResearching and discovering software vulnerabilities across multiple platforms and environments\n\nReverse engineering software to identify security weaknesses and develop mechanism bypasses\n\nPerforming as a team lead on projects when appropriate, providing technical guidance and mentorship\n\nManaging the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of user land and kernel software and systems Researching and maintaining proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and emerging trends in computer network vulnerabilities, static and dynamic program analysis, network security, and encryption\n\nCommunicating project status, findings, and risk considerations with leadership and customers\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma and 7+ years of relevant experience\n\nExperience with with low-level internals in Windows or Linux within the last 3 years\n\nExperience in C/C++, Python and Assembly (x86/x64) programming\n\nExperience in vulnerability research\n\nExperience in exploit development\n\nExperience in reverse engineering and common security research tools such as IDA Pro, WinDBG, Ghidra, Radare, Binary Ninja, SysInternals, GDB, or similar\n\nExperience with CNO capability development\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience developing fuzzers and static analysis tools\n\nExperience with modern security system features\n\nExperience using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible)\n\nExperience applying Agile Scrum methodologies Experience mentoring junior vulnerability researchers\n\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to a TS/SCI clearance\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\n\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $128,800.00-$214,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
