Your adventure begins now-unleash your potential with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Communications Specialist to join our team in Columbia, MD.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nDevelops and implements comprehensive communications strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives while ensuring all communications are consistent with the organization’s mission, values, and messaging guidelines.\nProduce high-quality written content for various communications channels, including press releases, reports, presentations, and internal communications.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.\nManages and responds to Requests for Information (RFI) from various stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.\nAssists in managing communication during crisis situations, providing timely and accurate information to mitigate impact.\nMonitors and evaluates the effectiveness of communications strategies and initiatives, using data to inform improvements.\nThis is a temporary position that is anticipated to end in July 2027.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 12+ years of experience OR Associate’s degree and 11+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree and 7+ years of experience OR PhD with 5+ years of experience.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools.\nAbility to work on several products concurrently while managing competing deadlines.\nExceptional written and verbal skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDegree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Experience working as a Public Affairs Officer or other strategic communications roles.\nExperience serving as a Public Affairs Officer or other related strategic communications role.\nProficiency in creating and maintaining websites.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations\nMust be able to exchange accurate information in these situations\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $97,100.00-$161,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
