Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented CVN Maintenance Manager to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position is on-site.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nThis CVN Maintenance Manager will be responsible for maintaining the material condition and war-fighting readiness of an aircraft carrier.\nThis support will include determining maintenance availabilities, assisting in scheduling of maintenance, identifying repair facilities, and maintaining a budget. \nThis person will need to interface with Type Commander, shipyard facilities, various program managers, and ship's force.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n+8 years of Naval CVN or Naval Nuclear Maintenance experience, inclusive of Naval Submarine Nuclear standards\nExperience evaluating maintenance provider estimates\nPrior experience using MS Excel and PowerPoint with ability to develop and maintain spreadsheets, analyze data received, and provide recommendations both short term and long term in order to ensure material readiness.\nExperience briefing naval officers and civilians (both within and outside of Commander Naval Air Force Atlantic (CNAL’s) chain of command) on system and equipment status, recommending courses of action for repairs.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n6+ years experience with ship’s availability planning. Preferably, Regional Maintenance Automated Information System (RMAIS) in work package screening and ship’s availability planning.\nFluency in the use of RMAIS, ability to review and validate, sort, screen and provide feedback to the respective ship and work centers on jobs submitted to ensure information contained is correct and all-inclusive in order to broker work items to repair activities.\nStrong knowledge in hull, mechanical and electrical equipment and systems for aircraft carriers.\nAbility to analyze and evaluate the Current Ships Maintenance Projects (CSMP), making recommendations for the brokering of maintenance actions to the Maintenance Program Manager.\nClearance Requirements:\nUS Citizenship required and a current or active Secret Security Clearance.\nPhysical Qualifications:\nAbility to lift and carry 50 pounds\nExtensive time in stationary position\nClimb and descend stairs and galley ways\nBe able to move around the office and or ship\nOperate standard office equipment\nMust be able to observe and report in a Naval command setting\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $65,000.00-$107,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
