This position supports a wide range of defense-related initiatives, playing a critical role in delivering expertise across cybersecurity, and our client programs.\nThe Cyber Security Analyst manages technical processes, documentation, and ensures senior leadership remains continuously informed on project progress, risks, and operational status.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nCollaborate throughout the defense acquisition lifecycle to manage security requirements and build them directly into design reviews, naval architecture, and technical specifications.\nSupport the cybersecurity design, analysis, and risk management programs.\nAnalyze program artifacts to ensure compliance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards and cybersecurity engineering guidelines.\nProvide technical analysis of client issuances and quickly learn new and relevant cybersecurity concepts and tools.\nAssist with the creation of data dashboards, workflows, and reports in Power BI to enhance operational visibility.\nLead data calls, data gathering, and develop briefings for senior leadership on project or task progress, risks, and recommended actions.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, and other administrative documents.\nPrepare division leadership meeting agendas and staff division documents to the directorate front office.\nManage and report task status and schedules, keeping senior leadership informed with regular updates on ongoing and pending tasks and activities.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAssociates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related discipline.\n4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Business Systems Analysis field.\nPossession of at least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).\nDemonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new cybersecurity concepts and tools.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with NAVSEA systems, operational requirements, and military protocols.\nExperience in the development, automation, maintenance, and procedures of Navy/DoD technical documentation.\nPossession of an advanced cybersecurity certification: CISSP, CISM, or CISA.\nWillingness and ability to travel up to 25%.\nClearance Requirements:\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nActive Secret security clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nAbility to operate standard office equipment and communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and customers.\nOccasional movement around the office to access file cabinets, machinery, and equipment.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $104,200.00-$172,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
