Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Scientist to join our team in Doral, FL.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nExtracting, cleaning, and synthesizing large, complex structured and unstructured datasets to derive actionable insights.\nDesigning, training, and deploying advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve operational challenges.\nCollaborating with cross-functional technical teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate operational needs into data-driven solutions.\nDeveloping interactive data visualization tools and dashboards to communicate complex analytical findings to decision-makers.\nConducting model evaluation, baseline testing, and continuous optimization across enterprise data environments.\nMaintaining technical documentation, code repositories, and analytical baselines to support system governance.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in advanced analytics or data science roles.OR a master’s degree and 1+ or more years of relevant experience\nOR a PhD and 1+ or more years of relevant experience\nOR an associate’s degree and 5+ or more years of relevant experience\nOR a high school diploma and 7+ or more years of relevant experience\n\nProven experience building and deploying machine learning models using modern programming languages such as Python or R. Strong background in database management, data mining, and writing complex SQL queries across relational and non-relational databases.\nExperience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex technical documentation and data science methodologies. Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nRelevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialist, Azure Data Scientist Associate).\nPrior experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations or Department of Defense enterprise data environments.\nExperience with cloud analytics platforms, containerization tools, and MLOps workflows.\nFamiliarity with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or automated workflow orchestration platforms.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust hold a current/active secret security clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
