In the role of DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our bare-metal Linux and Kubernetes infrastructure. You will drive innovation by seamlessly integrating GPU-accelerated nodes and streamlining application deployments through automated GitOps workflows. Your expertise in Kubernetes and infrastructure automation will directly enable our high-performance computing capabilities within highly secure, air-gapped environments.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nAdminister, secure, and maintain bare-metal servers running Enterprise Linux 8 and 10.\nProvision, upgrade, and manage multi-cluster Kubernetes environments utilizing Rancher.\nDeploy and manage core Kubernetes resources by developing scalable YAML manifests and Helm charts, including , including StatefulSets, Deployments, DaemonSets, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Persistent Volumes.\nBuild and maintain GitOps-driven deployment pipelines and automated cluster synchronization using ArgoCD.\nIntegrate and maintain standard CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows via Git.\nDocument all work in JIRA and Confluence\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma and 4+ years of Linux system administration experience.\nExperience in Enterprise Linux.\n2+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, or an active Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) credential\n1+ years’ experience managing version control workflows, repository management, and CI/CD pipeline integrations using GitLab or Bitbucket.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field.\nExperience deploying, patching, and maintaining Linux and Kubernetes infrastructure within an air-gapped network environment with zero internet connectivity.\nExperience implementing GitOps-driven deployment pipelines and automated cluster synchronization via ArgoCD.\nExperience configuring Kubernetes worker nodes with NVIDIA GPUs, including the installation and troubleshooting of the NVIDIA Container Toolkit, CUDA drivers, and GPU operators.\nExperience utilizing bare-metal IPMI/iLO/iDRAC for out-of-band server hardware management, remote console/firmware management, and telemetry monitoring.\nExperience handling multi-cluster administration, ingress control, and configuring RBAC security policies via Rancher\nClearance Requirements:\nCurrent/active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $114,600.00-$190,200.00.
