Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-orientedF5 Network Engineer to join our team in Stafford, VA.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and implementing robust LAN/WAN solutions that allow enterprise applications to utilize the MCEN De-Militarized Zone (DMZ). The engineer will manage network traffic routing, support daily operations for both on-premises and cloud networks (AWS, Azure) and play a critical part in troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nDesign and implement enterprise networking solutions using Cisco and Juniper hardware.\nManage and support daily operations of network traffic routing for on-premises and cloud environments.\nDevelop, update, and validate all network integration documentation.\nSupport troubleshooting activities for network connectivity issues reported by application owners.\nEvaluate and apply DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to all relevant network components.\nAchieve and maintain all required Information Assurance (IA) certifications and training for privileged access to the MCEN.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years of related experience in DoD cloud network constructs in AWS or Azure. An additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. \nDemonstrated proficiency with Cisco and Juniper network devices (routers, switches).\nA Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate for JUNOS (JNCIA-JUNOS) certification is required.\nDoDD 8140/8570 compliant/certified (e.g., current Security+ certification).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCurrent experience supporting Marine Corps Enterprise Networks\nF5 Certified Technical Specialist certifications for ASM (Test 303), APM (Test 304), and LTM (Tests 301A/301B).\nClearance Requirements:\nAn active DoD Secret clearance is required for this position.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $109,000.00-$181,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
