Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Facilities Manager to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB.\nThe Facilities Manager’s primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nDevelop and oversee maintenance contracts\nManaging personnel, supervising and coordinating work of contractors\nAct as primary liaison between agency and contracted companies\nEnsuring the building meets health and safety requirements and comply with government laws and regulations\nPlanning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing current premises\nChecking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.\nResponding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise on a daily basis\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree\n2+ years direct/related experience\nExperience with MS Office Suite\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have a current/active Top Secret Clearance\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility)\nEligibility for access to Special Access Program Information\nWillingness to submit to a Polygraph.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
