Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Field Support Technician to join our team inGuatemala City, Guatemala.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nProvide advanced onsite and remote technical support, specializing in complex troubleshooting and problem resolution.\nDiagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, install and configure equipment, and provide technical assistance to end users.\nPerform onsite maintenance, upgrade, and troubleshooting efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.\nCommunicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients and help develop/maintain knowledgebase articles and training materials, contributing to team knowledge and support efficiency.\nEscalate complex issues to senior Technicians and contribute to process improvement initiatives.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT service desk or desktop support operations.OR an associate’s degree and 3+ or more years of relevant experience\nOR a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with 1+ years of relevant experience\n\nDemonstrated experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including network troubleshooting and configuration.\nProficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows operating systems.\nExperience with cybersecurity tools and best practices.\nIAT Level II Certification for example: CompTIA Security+\nAZ-104 or MD-102 (obtained within 3 months of starting)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.\nExperience with mobile device management (MDM) Solutions, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), scripting and automation tools, and ticketing systems.\nCompTIA A+ Certification.\nExperience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have an active Top Secret clearance.\nMust be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
