Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented HQ Systems Administrator to join our team in Doral, FL.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nInstalling, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise server hardware, operating systems, and virtualized infrastructure across headquarters systems.\nManaging user accounts, system permissions, Active Directory structures, and group policies across enterprise networks.\nPerforming routine system maintenance, vulnerability patching, software updates, and diagnostic evaluations to ensure security compliance.\nMonitoring system performance, storage availability, and network services to proactively resolve operational bottlenecks.\nCollaborating with cross-functional technical teams, network engineers, and leadership to maintain high system availability.\nMaintaining accurate configuration management records, technical system documentation, and operational baseline inventories.\nRecommending and implementing continuous process improvements to streamline IT administration and enterprise system efficiency.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in systems administration.OR a master’s degree and 3+ or more years of relevant experience\nOR an associate’s degree and 7+ or more years of relevant experience\nOR a high school diploma and 9+ or more years of relevant experience\n\nProven experience administering Windows and Linux server operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualized enterprise environments.\nHands-on experience with system patch management, baseline configuration management, and server hardware maintenance.\nProficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, network services, and system access issues.\nExperience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation and system baselines.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nRelevant professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).\nPrior experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations, Combatant Command environments, or Department of Defense enterprise technical environments.\nFamiliarity with DoD STIG implementation, vulnerability scanning tools (ACAS), and secure baseline auditing procedures.\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary engineering teams in fast-paced operational environments.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust hold a current/active top secret security clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
