Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team onsite in Norfolk, Virginia supporting the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program. This is position is onsite.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nPerform, support, or review security assessments to identify vulnerabilities or non-compliance and recommend activities to mitigate or eliminate identified threats.\n\nValidate, and verify complex system-wide security requirements based on analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.\n\nDesign, develop, and deploy security system architectures to meet evolving customer needs.\n\nDesign, develop, implement and/or integrate security components including for networking, computing, and multi-enclave environments.\n\nAssist in the development and implementation of security functionality in varied products and services across the enterprise environment.\n\nReview, provide feedback, and help update and maintain project and program documentation which contain IS stipulations, such as system security plans (SSP), certification and accreditation (C&A) packages, and other system design artifacts.\n\nEnforce compliance with security authorization activities in accordance with Government standards and the RMF.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related technical field and 5+ years of relevant information systems experience, or an Associates degree and 8+ years of relevant information systems experience, or a High School Diploma and eleven 11+ years of information systems relevant experience in lieu of Bachelors degree.\n\nExperience identifying and analyzing systems requirements\n\nExperience developing and maintaining system applications and security\n\nExperience providing user support and guidance\n\nExperience recommending and implementing security upgrades, security patches, and new applications vulnerabilities for installed equipment\n\nExperience ensuring proper documentation, coordination, and maintenance of multiple systems\n\nExperience of DIACAP and RMF are required as well as ACAS experience and DISA ACAS certification\n\nExperience with eMass\n\nComputing Environment/Operating System (CE/OS) certifications (Preferably VMware, Linux and/or Microsoft Windows 2022)\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nRelevant work experience as an ISSE within a U.S. Government environment, DoD strongly preferred.\n\nActive SEC+ CE certification.\n\nMaster’s degree in computer science or related technical field.\n\nActive Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.\n\nClearance Requirements:\nUS citizenship required an and active Secret security clearance\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%\n\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.\n\nThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\n\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $89,100.00-$148,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
