MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA. In this role you will assist with database sizing and management as well as perform routine maintenance and administration tasks on the infrastructure hosting our applications, including our development, testing, training, and production environments. In this role, you will work alongside Software Developers, DevOps Engineers and Data Engineers to build unique software that enables our customer network to safely operate at scale without customer impact.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Deploy, provision, and secure AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, CloudWatch, and VPC, assisting with database sizing, management, and server security
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins to support continuous integration and deployment
• Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to ensure uninterrupted development productivity across all environments
• Run vulnerability scans, patch physical and cloud infrastructure, manage VPNs, and ensure SSL/TLS certificates remain current
• Maintain and update software architecture, focusing on secure infrastructure enhancements, system design, operational best practices, and proactive innovation
• Collaborate closely with peers and customers in a fast-paced environment to enhance performance and scalability

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 7+ years of experience working with SQL databases
• 4+ years of experience with Linux or Windows system administration
• 2+ years of experience working with Elasticsearch
• 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes
• Experience with systems design and scalability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with large-scale, enterprise-class network environments
• Experience designing secure infrastructure enhancements to support new capabilities and performance optimization
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams alongside DevOps Engineers and Data Engineers
• Strong detail orientation, problem-solving capabilities, and effective verbal/written communication skills

Clearance Requirements: Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

The projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
