Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB.\nThe ISSE's primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nPerform system or network designs that encompass multiple Cloud hosting environments, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements. Validate and verify security requirements, establish security designs, and develop security architectures.\nSupport ATO accreditation with analyzing security scans, organizational policies, and perform continuous monitoring\nProvide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management. Perform/support or review security assessments to identify IA vulnerabilities or non-compliances and recommend mitigations.\nRecommend cybersecurity-enabled products to implement security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication and non-repudiation.\nWork on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environment\nReview, provide feedback, and help update/maintain SSP documentation.\nSupport security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAt least 1 year of direct/related experience in information security.\nBachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.\nActive / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification\nClearance Requirements:\nCurrent Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility\nEligibility for access to Special Access Program Information\nWillingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
