Your journey to impactful work and rapid growth starts now-be extraordinary at MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Software Developer to join our team in Doral, FL.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code to support backend web services, application logic, and RESTful APIs.\nAssist in designing, developing, and unit testing responsive front-end user interfaces and web components.\nCollaborate with cross-functional development teams in Agile software ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.\nHelp troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application deficiencies to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.\nDevelop and optimize database scripts, queries, and schemas within relational database management systems.\nContainerize applications and assist with automated deployments, configuration management, and version control workflows.\nAssist in creating and updating user documentation, technical specifications, and system architectural diagrams.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM discipline AND one (1) or more years of experience in software development or an adjacent role, software analytics, devops, automation, ect. OR an associate's degree and three (3) or more years of relevant experience\nOR a high school diploma and five (5) or more years of relevant experience.\n\nFoundational experience developing in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or C++.\nBasic familiarity with front-end web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.\nFamiliarity with application containerization tools like Docker and automated configuration tools like Ansible.\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and cloud-hosted environments.\nActive CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to acquire within 6 months of hire).\nClearance Requirements:\nMust hold an active/current secret security clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
