Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a highly skilled and mission-driven Launch Site System Engineer to join our team at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL.\nThe Launch Site System Engineer will support engineering activities across a fast-paced launch environment and help ensure launch vehicle readiness, safe operations, and technical compliance.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nProviding system engineering support to ensure the capability of launch vehicles to provide services for National Security Space (NSS) missions\nMonitoring Space X anomaly resolution process, risk process, issues, and configuration changes to support Government tracking of all ground system configuration changes\nAssessing and evaluating Space X launch complex requirements, design, configuration changes, and verification/validation documentation and providing risk recommendations to the Government\nPerforming monitoring and analysis of Space X processes and procedures including vehicle processing and checkout, Wet Dress Rehearsals (WDRs), and other operations\nObserving launch readiness reviews, post-flight ground system performance reviews, and supporting technical interchange meetings, design reviews, Engineering Review Boards, and Chief Engineer Review Boards\nSupporting mission operations, troubleshooting and tracking outages, and assisting users with launch site communication systems\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline\n10+ years DoD/Launch/Range/Space-lift Integration experience\nExperience with launch site communication systems to include data transport, operational voice, video, and networking\nFamiliarity with Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) facilities, processes, providers, and operations\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Project and Visio applications\nFlexibility to support launch vehicle procedures, testing, and mission operations during non-standard business hours/days with the expectation to perform those duties over multiple attempts\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAdvanced education or specialized training in engineering, systems integration, aerospace operations, or related technical fields\nExperience supporting U.S. Space Force, Air Force Launch Enterprise programs, or other national security space missions\nFamiliarity with systems engineering tools, mission assurance processes, and launch vehicle lifecycle activities\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across organizations and contribute to technical decision forums\nAbility to work both independently and in a team environment while maintaining a positive professional attitude\nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced operational environment and react to real-world system outages using critical thinking and troubleshooting skills\nEffective communication skills with the ability to provide briefings to large groups and leadership\nClearance Requirements:\nAbility to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance - not required to start.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer\nFrequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
