Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Test Engineer to support our contract under Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) out of Stafford, VA. The Software Test Engineer will be performing research and analysis on new and existing technologies and tools to provide more efficient software development and test techniques and processes for our Marine Corps client.\nJob Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nCoordinate and facilitate Automated Software Test-related technical and strategy discussions.\nEvaluate existing software test tools for implementation in the USMC environment.\nDevelop automation requirements and an implementation roadmap for the client.\nConduct proof of concept/prototype demonstrations on designated programs of record.\nIntegrate automated test protocols into existing agile and CI/CD pipelines.\nMandatory Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of related experience in software test engineering. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. \nKnowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques, including black box, white box, and gray box testing.\nAt least 2 years of experience with Automation Testing Frameworks such as Robot Framework, Appium, TestComplete, or similar tools.\nKnowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, and their application in automation testing. Ability to write automation scripts using programming languages and automation testing frameworks.\nUnderstanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and their impact on software testing.\nKnowledge of the Software Acquisition Pathway (SWP), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nUnderstanding of DoD Acquisition/T&E policies and regulations.\nUnderstanding of DoN/USMC Logistics lifecycle management processes, policies, and organization.\nCertifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as ISTQB, CSTE, or similar certifications.\nUnderstanding of USMC Logistics management Defense Business Systems (e.g., GCSS-MC) and cloud environments (e.g., MCBOSS)\nExperience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\nUnderstanding of AI/ML use in testing.\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nMust have a current/active DoD Secret Clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nSedentary work\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
