Meade, MD.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nCreating and managing virtual environments\nSystems administration of hardware and software in support of maintenance, developing and testing of information technology systems\nAdministration of Linux (i.e., Redhat/Rocky 8)\nScripting with Basic Shell (Bash), PUTTY\nConfiguring and maintaining storage and file systems\nDeveloping and delivering briefings, technical presentations, and program documentation to senior program management\nMinimum Qualifications:\n5+ years’ of overall technical experience\nLinux administrative experience (command-line)\nServer STE/STN Compliancy (ex., NESSUS, MacAfee Agents) and performing server management relating to security tools such as patch management (applying O/S updates, IAVAs, and configuration changes)\nDemonstrated experience working with a team to introduce and integrate new technologies into existing production environments\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliar with installing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on OS on Linux\nExperience with installing PKI certs\nCreate/Maintain bash scripts to dump and load databases\nUse SALT to deploy config files to end node and do various interrogations (ping, DNS)\nClearance Requirement:\nActive TS/SCI clearance with Poly\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.\nNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\nConstantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
