Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a self-motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst This is an onsite position performing functions at AF/A9 at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.\nIn this role you will provide analyses of logistic impacts on operational needs, defined as the capability to analyze, assess and document the end-to-end planning, initial movement and sustainment requirements of a theater-wide standard and alternative basing. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the future Air Force & Joint Force can be relied on to project power and achieve national defense strategy objectives. Investigate and learn about high-intensity theater-level warfare and communicate relevant analytic insights to USAF & DoD decisionmakers on future force capabilities and capacity, risks, and vulnerabilities. Analyze theater-level warfare & preparation for war.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nEngage in initiating, designing, executing, and implementing complex logistics analysis projects supporting U.S. Air Force deployment operations. Serve as a subject matter expert in Air Force operational logistics, develop frameworks for understanding, characterizing, and organizing deployment requirements into systematic and meaningful patterns to optimize force movement.\nGather, identify, and relate logistics data to analyze operational management problems and requirements in support of mission-critical projects. Conduct complex logical analysis of movement schedules, force packaging, and logistics information requirements, heavily utilizing a strong operational understanding of Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) and Unit Type Codes (UTCs).\nServe as focal point to provide expertise on, access to, and utilization of current Air Force and Department-level logistics systems such as GCCS, JOPES, DCAPES as well as underlying datasets used to plan, document, and execute operational planning. Knowledge of deployment systems (e.g., DCAPES, JOPES, DPAS, ILS systems) and extract actionable insights from large datasets.\nPossess a specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in military logistics and operational planning. Interpreting internal or external operational challenges and recommend best practices to improve deployment processes or services. Solving complex problems; maintaining a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions bridging the gap between logistics planners and technical data sets. Skill in written, and oral communication to present information on the scope, methods, and results of logistics output data and assessments.\nWorking independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Leading others to solve complex problems; using analytical thinking, data tools, and judgment to identify innovative solutions. Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives; work is guided by department objectives. Communicating complex concepts regarding force deployment and data models; anticipates potential objections and influences operational leaders to adopt a different point of view.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant Air Force Logistics experience\nDeep domain expertise in U.S. Air Force logistics operations, deliberate/crisis action planning, TPFDD management, and UTC sourcing\nExperience using Microsoft Office products (ex. Excel, Access, PowerPoint)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCurrent Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligible.\nExperience developing study plans that include background, purpose of study, scope/limitations, critical assumptions and constraints, measures of effectiveness, study parameters and variables, methodology description, data requirements and schedule.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust be a US Citizen and have a current and active, Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret with SCI clearance\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $104,200.00-$172,900.00.
