MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Maritime Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drafts and develops Maritime Risk Assessment Plans and safety documentation for senior review and validation.
Maintain detailed records of vessel safety certifications and facilitate communication between the prime contractor and insurance partners.
Prepare routine reports on maritime risk metrics and safety performance for Mission Partners.
Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for managing maritime pollution prevention and safety compliance.
Facilitate the coordination of vessel inspections and ensure all maritime platforms are seaworthy and properly manned.
Prepare risk status updates for inclusion in the unclassified document library and management portal.
Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marine Safety, Business, or a related field (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
3+ years of position-relevant experience.
Proficiency in maritime safety regulations and USCG standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field.
7+ years of position-relevant experience.
Experience with international standards for vessel berthing and husbanding.
Clearance Requirements:
Must hold an active DOD Public Trust clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,200.00-$128,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
