Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administrator to join our team in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nResponsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the network infrastructure. This includes servers, routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.\nConfigures, monitors, and troubleshoots network devices to maintain seamless connectivity and address emerging issues.\nImplements and maintains essential network security measures, performs routine backups and disaster recovery procedures, and resolves network bottlenecks.\nInstalls and configures network hardware and software. They also maintain comprehensive network documentation and provide timely technical support to end users.\nStays current with emerging network technologies and trends, actively pursuing professional development opportunities. The Network Administrator receives guidance and direction from more senior staff.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBA/BS in computer science, information technology, network engineering, mathematics or in a related field of study and two (2) or more years of relevant Network Administrator experience.OR an associate's degree and four (4) or more years of relevant experience.\nOR high school diploma and six (6) or more years of relevant experience.\n\nDoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification\nProficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automating network tasks.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with military/diplomatic operations working within a J-6/G-6/S-6 Directorate or with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or the Department of State (DoS), leading and performing cybersecurity risk assessments for and across multiple commands, agencies, and regionally distributed locations in a Security Operations Center (SOC).\nCompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator-Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate certifications.\nExperience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have a current/active Secret clearance.\nMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.\nMust be able to deliver clear and effective communication verbally and via email, phone, and virtual communication platforms to interface with co-workers and customers.\nMust be able to occasionally move about inside an office environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, and communicate with co-workers.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $75,800.00-$126,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
