Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Specialist to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB.TheNetwork Specialist's primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nResearching and developing solutions to issues that arise as part of daily operations.\nAssisting with developing new solutions to keep the network evolving and forward looking.\nProvide Tier 2 and 3 supports for network testing and operations.\nManaging network local test environment including, routers, switches, firewalls, servers, CUCM, and VOIP phones.\nCreating documentation and diagrams for all projects as well as changes made to the network.\nWorking in a Hyper-V environment to help maintain servers related to network management.\nWorking with datacenter network technology including Nexus switches and vPC.\nMaintaining and developing changes involving firewalls, routers, switches, TACLANES, Solarwinds, GEM One, and Hyper-V. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.\n2+ years direct/related experience.\nActive / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II or higher certification.\nWorking knowledge of CISCO network and switching and virtualization technologies.\nWorking knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies.\nWorking knowledge communication security (COMSEC) policies and integration.\nWorking knowledge of Risk Management Framework, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to assessments and authorization.\nWorking knowledge and current relevant experience with PL2 and PL3 network environments/systems.\nMust be familiar with DoD policy as it applies to implementing and executing system and network administration.\nClearance Requirements:\nMust have a current/active Top-Secret clearance .\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility).\nEligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.\nWillingness to submit to a Polygraph.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nOccasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and
