Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!\nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network System Administrator (NSA) - II to join our team in El Segundo, CA.\nThe primary function of the Network/Systems Administrator-II is to work with Special Access Program (SAPs) and other classified networks supporting SSC Directorates and/or AFSPC Operational Units. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. This role requires full-time, on-site presence five days a week.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nInstall, maintain, audit, and support a secure MS Windows network environment and limited web/data application services.\nMaintain internet applications and protocols including IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL.\nMaintain file servers, firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems, and comprehensive system documentation.\nInterface directly with local customers to provide rapid technical support and resolve IT operational issues.\nAnalyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum hardware and network performance.\nPerform scheduled maintenance, hardware replacements, firmware updates, and baseline configuration modifications.\nManage data backup libraries and execute scheduled backups, including media handling at local and off-site locations.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a related technical field (or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).\n3+ years of total system administration experience.\n2 years supporting SCI or SAP environments.\nActive DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA, CySA+, or CND) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.\nProven experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining secure Microsoft Windows network operating environments.\nDemonstrated technical capability troubleshooting network protocols, system anomalies, and hardware malfunctions.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nApplicable Microsoft Certified Windows professional credentials aligned with enterprise operational requirements.\nWorking knowledge of JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN 6/3, DCID/JAFAN 6/9, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI standards.\nPractical experience with PL1 and PL2 systems, as well as PL3 and PL4 cross-domain solutions.\nFamiliarity with LAN/WAN infrastructure and COMSEC integration practices.\nClearance Requirements:\nAn active TS/SCI or TS with SCI eligibility.\nCandidates must be eligible for access to Special Access Programs.\nWillingness to submit to a polygraph is required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods in closed-area office environments.\nMust be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access safes, file cabinets, and server racks.\nMust be able to lift, move, and install computer and IT-related equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.\nRequires travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR), which may include both air and ground transportation.\nThe projected compensation range for this position is $107,900.00-$179,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
